In the beginning, they established an awapuhi farm in Pa’auilo, Hawaii, to cultivate plants for hair care products. The brand uses awapuhi grown in house for all their products to deliver the maximum essence of richness. They are hand harvested and passively solar dehydrated to slowly dry out the roots without damaging the nutrients in it. Once dried, the roots are grounded into fine powder and sent to a center in California for production.
The farm is lush with awapuhi plants and flowers. After 2 years, the awapuhi extract, the holy ingredient, became the signature products in the shelf. With so much proud, they introduce Awapuhi Shampoo to the world.
The farm has been cared since 40 years and they still harvest ginger from the farm. A part of every root is replanted for harvesting the next year, creating a regenerative cycle through it and grow for the next generation of awapuhi ginger.
